This Privacy Policy explains how Cozy Room Co (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you visit cozyroomco.com, contact us, or use features we make available.
Information we receive
- Information you provide: if you email us, we receive your email address, message, and anything you choose to include.
- Basic technical information: our hosting, security, caching, and content-delivery services may process an IP address, browser and device information, requested pages, timestamps, referring pages, and security events in server logs.
- Essential cookies and similar storage: WordPress, security, hosting, or caching services may use technologies needed to keep the site secure and working correctly. Logged-in administrators also receive WordPress account cookies.
How we use information
We use information to operate and secure the website, deliver requested pages, respond to messages, investigate errors or abuse, maintain records, and meet legal obligations. Where applicable, we rely on consent, performance of a requested service, legal obligations, or our legitimate interests in running a secure and useful website.
Checklist downloads and email updates
If you request a free checklist, we use the email address you enter to send the download link and respond to any delivery questions. Requesting the checklist does not by itself subscribe you to decorating or promotional emails. You can separately choose to receive occasional decorating emails and product offers using the optional, unchecked box on the form.
Our website processes your request using WPForms and sends it through our existing email service. We keep an administrator-only record in WordPress containing your email address, the date of your request, and your submitted email preference and its wording. This lets us deliver the resource and keep a record of your choice. Our hosting and security tools may also process technical information to prevent spam and abuse. We keep these records only as long as needed for delivery, the email relationship you requested, and appropriate recordkeeping.
You can withdraw a subscription choice or request deletion by replying to one of our emails or writing to [email protected]. We will apply that request before sending further decorating or promotional emails. Changing your email preference does not affect your access to the free checklist.
Paid digital downloads
Paid downloads use Payhip for checkout and file delivery, with payments processed by PayPal. These services handle the information needed to take payment, provide your files and receipts, and support your order. We can access purchase records through Payhip to help with downloads, order questions, and refunds. We do not collect payment-card details on this website.

Cookies, analytics, and advertising
Essential cookies: WordPress, security, hosting, and caching services may use technologies needed to keep the site secure and working correctly.
Analytics: Cozy Room Co uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors find and use the site — for example, which pages are popular and where visitors come from — so we can improve our content. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects data such as your approximate location, the pages you view, and general device information; IP addresses are anonymized. We show a consent banner when you first arrive, and these analytics cookies run in line with your choice: you can accept, decline, or change your mind at any time using the “Opt-out preferences” link at the bottom of the page. We also honor “Do Not Track” and Global Privacy Control browser signals.
Advertising: We do not currently run advertising cookies. If we add advertising or other nonessential technologies later, we will update this policy and use consent controls before they run.
Service providers
We use service providers to host, deliver, secure, cache, and maintain the site and email. These currently include WordPress software, Hostinger hosting and email infrastructure, Cloudflare content delivery and security services, and installed WordPress security and performance tools. They may process technical information on our behalf under their own terms and privacy commitments.
Affiliate links
Some future pages may contain clearly identified affiliate links. A retailer may receive information when you follow one of its links, subject to that retailer’s privacy policy. See our Affiliate Disclosure.
Sharing and selling information
We do not currently sell or rent personal information. We may share limited information with service providers that help us run the site, when you ask us to, to protect rights and security, or when required by law. If our practices materially change, this policy will be updated before the new use begins where required.
Retention and security
We keep information only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose collected, security, recordkeeping, dispute resolution, and legal obligations. No online system is perfectly secure, but we use access controls, HTTPS, security monitoring, and reputable infrastructure to reduce risk.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection, or to withdraw consent. To make a request, email [email protected] with the subject “Privacy Request.” We may need to verify the request and may retain information where the law permits or requires it.
Children’s privacy
Cozy Room Co is a general-audience home-decor website and is not directed to children under 13. Please contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information so we can review and, when appropriate, remove it.
